Specialist vehicle and motorsport logistics firm Bespoke Handling has confirmed an important strategic expansion of its global support network with a new regional office in Qatar. The formation of Bespoke Handling Middle East is a key part of a programme to strengthen and enhance the comprehensive service provided to customers across the Middle East region as businesses work to operate and meet customer demands amid restrictions, lockdowns and border limitations.
Bespoke Handling continues to strengthen its global logistics infrastructure, and this latest development builds on the previously announced strategic partnership with freight forwarding specialists Kuehne+Nagel. The Bespoke Handling Middle East operation is located in Doha, Qatar and will act as regional hub focusing on logistics management within and those transiting through the Middle East. This will be managed by the dedicated team of logistics experts in place on the ground.
The newly established operations mark the first international location for Bespoke Handling, and the UK team of logistics experts will support the team in Qatar, pulling on more than 30 years’ experience in international shipping and freight handling. The Qatar-based team will work closely with customers in-region ensuring a comprehensive and efficient local service is provided at each stage of transit.
Bespoke Handling CEO Gary Ayles explained: “We are extremely proud to confirm this latest expansion into a key region and announce Bespoke Handling Middle East as a hub for business operations. The team of experts we have in place in Qatar has a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the logistics business, customer requirements and the region, significantly boosting our global network and the infrastructure we have in place. Combined with our existing relationship with Kuehne+Nagel, this further reinforces our service offering and the ability to get the job done, efficiently and effectively.
The world is currently in a state of transition as various countries and businesses operate under lockdowns and other restrictions, and we are working hard to understand and put measures in place to ensure we can support our customers on the ground as best we can. This latest expansion of the Bespoke Handling operations is an exciting new step for the business, and it ensures we have processes and facilities in place to support customers as the world starts to open up again.”
Osama Ba of Bespoke Handling Middle East added: “I am extremely proud to be part of this exciting project and the development of Bespoke Handling as we open the new regional hub in Qatar. We are looking forward to working with Gary, Fabian and the team in the UK, and strengthening the offering to customers and reinforcing the network across the region as we build Bespoke Handling Middle East.”
