Bespoke Handling will be celebrating a blend of classic and modern models from three iconic brands on the opening day of the upcoming Concours of Elegance, taking place in the grounds of Hampton Court Palace. Alongside providing logistical support to the exhibitors over the weekend, 2-4 September, automotive and motorsport transport specialists Bespoke Handling will showcase examples from different generations by Aston Martin, Ford, and Porsche.
The opening day of the event, Friday 2 September, will see six cars spanning nearly 60 years showcased by the event’s official transportation partner, Bespoke Handling. Representing the 1960s will be examples of the Aston Martin DB6 and the Porsche 912. Fast-forwarding to the early 2000s sees a second Aston Martin, in the shape of the limited edition DB7 Zagato, and a further Porsche, with the iconic 911 in hardcore GT2 specification, alongside the American muscle of the first-generation Ford GT. The line-up is brought up to date by a second-generation Ford GT from 2020.
Once the opening day is completed, a number of car clubs will take up position on the outer edge of the palace’s walled grounds, while Bespoke Handling will continue to hold a presence close to the owner’s enclosure.
Commenting ahead of the Concours of Elegance, Gary Ayles, Chief Executive Officer, explained: “The Concours of Elegance has established itself as one of the key events on the automotive calendar, and we at Bespoke Handling are proud to be able to continue to offer support. The three days attracts a fantastic selection of cars in such incredible surroundings, in the grounds of Hampton Court, and I am sure that the 10th anniversary will be the best one yet. I am pleased to confirm a larger presence for us on the opening day, and it is a great opportunity for us to be able to showcase a small collection of some of the cars we are trusted with. The mix of cars, from true classics right through to the latest supercars, gives an idea of the sorts of cars we store and transport for clients across the world.”
Andrew Evans, Concours of Elegance Director, added: “At the heart of our event sits a collection of more than 70 of the rarest and most spectacular cars ever created. To gather these vehicles from their homes across the world is a mammoth task, and we’re privileged to have the expertise and meticulous attention to detail of the Bespoke Handling team to help us. Much of the valuable work that they do is normally hidden behind the scenes, but we’re delighted to be able to showcase their services in a more significant way this year with a dedicated display on Friday 2nd September.”
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the Concours of Elegance is, once again, bringing together a carefully curated collection of some of the world’s finest and most iconic cars. Bespoke Handling will be on hand throughout to manage and coordinate the transportation of these vehicles on behalf of owners, exhibitors, and manufacturers, at one of the most iconic venues on the calendar.
