Bespoke Handling supports The Collector at the London Concours

Green Aston Martin DB5

Automotive and motorsport transport specialists Bespoke Handling will have increased presence at the London Concours later this month with confirmed sponsorship of a highly prestigious class at the event. Bespoke Handling will proudly support ‘The Collector’ which will display the carefully curated selection, owned by automotive businessman and dedicated collector, Sukhpal Singh Ahluwalia.

The ten-vehicle exhibit showcases automotive design mainly from the 1950s and 60s, and includes several iconic GT models. Alongside the classic models is a true member of the modern supercar club, highlighting Mr Ahluwalia’s appreciation for automotive design and engineering. Bespoke Handling, in its role of Official Transportation Partner, will be responsible for the safe and secure movement of Mr Ahluwalia’s collection to and from the event, along with a selection of the other vehicles being displayed by owners and exhibitors between 28-30 June at London’s Honourable Artillery Company.

The very British affair will include two quintessentially British models in the form of the Aston Martin DB5 and the Jaguar E-Type Series 1. These two mainstays of the classic car scene are joined by classic American and Italian style icons, the Corvette Stingray and Ferrari 365 GTB/4 ‘Daytona’. Classic German models are then represented with the Porsche 356 Speedster, and three models from Mercedes in the shapes of the 190SL convertible, 280SL ‘Pagoda’ and the 300S convertible. The selection of cars is concluded with a more recently acquired model, and a true modern ‘supercar’; the Mercedes McLaren SLR. The collection is then finalised by the addition of a Honda 90 motorcycle from 1975.

Gary Ayles, Chief Executive Officer at Bespoke Handling, explained: “We are extremely proud of our relationship with the team at the London Concours, and to expand our involvement with the support of ‘The Collector’ exhibit for this year. The event always attracts the great and good of the automotive world, and Mr Ahluwalia has brought together a stunning selection of models which perfectly suit the classic venue. The cars in this collection are some of the most beautiful and truly iconic designs in automotive history, and we are honoured to have been given the responsibility to bring them together for the event.”

Andrew Evans, London Concours Director, added: “We’re delighted to be working with our Official Transportation Partner, Bespoke Handling, to carefully deliver Mr Ahluwalia’s fabulous selection of cars to the Honourable Artillery Company, in the heart of the City. With their highly experienced, passionate team, Bespoke Handling has made the process totally seamless, from start to finish. ‘The Collector’ display is always a highlight of our event, and we look forward to it wowing the crowds once again later this month, at the 6th edition of London’s ultimate automotive garden party.”
